Adders have woken up in the last few weeks due to the very mild weather. These are the first I have seen this winter/spring.

Lovely photos; thank you. The only wild life I have seen here is hares. We have no rabbits as the ground is largely rock . Oh and my cats cleared the rats when I arrived here... The place had been empty years. Never seen a rat as huge as one they killed

I did my (volunteer) patrol around Arne RSPB today and watched an Emperor dragonfly (the biggest) laying eggs in one of the ponds.

@Sheal If it was on open water with no leaves I would have got the wings reflected in the water as well.

I discovered yesterday this isn't a rabbit but a hare. He/she is still visiting and enjoying grazing on the clover in the lawns. :)

Walked Bea along the canal tonight and this poor ducky was there. It looks either deformed or broken beak/jaw but seemed to be getting on ok. It was friendly and if we'd been able to catch it we would ha e taken it over to Tiggywinkles. Poor quacker.

Then a bit further down a mummy mallard with 8 cute babies.

These norty moos blocked the bridge and footpath from the canal. We darent cut through the field on the footpath after being chased by them a few weeks ago. Never been so scared in my life!!!
