I have just planted out my annual Larkspur, which I have grown for the first time. The stems are pretty tall and very thin. Do they need support. Any canes I might use would be much larger than the stems.

And how long does it flower for and does it grow into a larger fatter plant with time? And how come all my Delphiniums grown from seed have been eaten by slugs, but none of the Larkspur next to them?
