    When is the earliest time of the year can one mow the lawn after winter

    usualy they do say if there has been a mild spell and the grass has grown you can give it a cut but make sure you have your mower on a high setting and make sure no frost is due

    Hi Don, Well believe it or not I mowed both of my lawns (on a high setting ) today (Sunday 30th January ). What I find is, the earlier the lawn is cut, the easier it is in the spring when the grass is actively growing. Now this might not be agreeable with everybody, because it will depend on what part of the country you live.
