Leafless acer

    I ordered a 'free' (postage 4.25) Acer from the Daily Mail. It's arrived and has no leaves! Nice shape, lots of buds but how come no leaves?

    I think they keep them in some kind of cool storage to encourage them to stay dormant until posted.

    I also have one of those acers! I put it in a pot and watered it well - 1 week on and it has lovely foliage and is looking good. :cool:
