    Hi, my leylandii hedge is turning brown and getting worse over the years. Can anyone advise me what to do and should I still trim it in the meantime. Cheers

    A picture would be good jackie16 :)
    However, it sounds like your hedge is on the way out. You can only trim into new growth and not into the old wood. You wont harm it by trimming it though :)

    You up to replacing it? Maybe over autumn/ winter and putting something more attractive there?:)
