Yes, now I have two new knees, I actually got into the garden today! Planted a 'new' gooseberry bush - I say 'new' because when I was planting it, I noticed it was exactly the same type as the one I already had - Hinnonmaki Red. Then I got to cutting back the 4 rasberry canes, pruning the gooseberry and blackcurrant shrubs.

Finally I got to pulling down the pathetic remains of the fruit cage I put up. Remember this?

It was totally trashed so now it's gone!

Had a lovely crop of raspberries, though. But no blackcurrants and just a couple of goosegogs! Hoping for better all round this year!

Next I got to prune the roses!
