My dark red lillies have long since finished flowering and I left the stems/leaves so that the goodness can go into the bulb - BUT I seem to have some seed-like things growing on the stems now. Can anyone tell me if they are baby bulbs or what else they might be???

It is very rewarding growing lilies from the little bulbils and from seed. I have tiger lilies, lilium regale and various others flowering now - all took 3 years to make good flowering size bulbs. Galtonia Candicans is another good one to try.
