    Hi there,

I bought lilly for my pond (Nymphaea Chateau Le Rouge) and I've had it for about a month now.
It's grown new leaves and has buds developing under the water - so seems to be settling in. The only thing is that the leaves on the surface seem to always have tears in them - is that normal?

They seems overly delicate. I'm not aware of anything attacking the leaves and the pond is very still except for a small feature that does affect the leaves.

I don't know if I'm worrying for nothing, but thought I'd get some advice.

    Happy gardening!
    Fin

I wouldn't worry, the first leaves of the season always look like that, not sure why, but I find it quite normal.
If you've only planted it a month ago all the more reason, it should sort itself out once it gets going.
