What do you all use for lining hanging baskets?
What are the pros and cons?
In the past I have tried plastic bin bags with holes ( what a load of RUBBISH )
Then I bought some pre formed liners green plastic with a hairy coating Looked good when planted until the sparrow stripped the hairy stuff for their nests and left them bare.
Plenty of moss in my lawn but I don't think that is the right moss
This year I have found something GREAT [IMG]
TREDAIRE carpet underlay free in my loft not being used. Its hessian backed, easy to cut and has a green foam rippled effect to show through on the outside of the baskets which will also help retain moisture. So search those lofts you dont know what you might find

Slugbug..... have a nice time too, think of me doing the same ( sipping a glass or 2 of wine )while admiring my hard work in my garden... for the last 3 months, lol......

Hanging basket? I know the moss baskets are nice, but by the time the plants are growing you won't see the moss anyway, so now I use only solid plastic all in terracotta colour, mostly wall basket, done about 30 in total so far. Don't dry out so easily.

Hope you GARDENERS all have a good weekend ?
