    I have just purchased a Lirodenron tulipifera and was wondering at what size it may flower, Its in a 12 inch pot and stands approx 7feet tall above the pot.

    They are big forest trees.
    Not sure you will get it to flower in a pot.
    Unless Of course it gets stressed, then you might get the odd flower.

      I agree with Pete, they need to be quite mature before flowering.

      many thanks its not in the pot anymore planted know that was just to give an idea of size so I may not see it flower as i am 65 now, still the leaves are great

        The ones i see flowering always seem to have the flowers fairly high up.
        Being a relative of Magnolia and coming from N America it flowers after the leaves, so the flowers are possible to overlook.

          Just think of it as planting a legacy for future generations to enjoy. They're awesome looking trees when mature.
