Over the past couple of months I've struggled to move around the site. When I click to move backwards and forwards in and out of threads the loading isn't responding, I have to click on things a second time and at times 'x' out as everything just freezes.

I thought at first it might be the slowness of the old site, but it's worse now on the new site. I'm beginning to think it may be a computer problem, but can't be certain about that either as it doesn't seem to happen on other sites.

Has anyone got any ideas please? :)

I confess, Sheal, that at times even tonight I have had spells of twiddling my thumbs while waiting for the system to move. It's not all the time, just every now and then. We'll let Nathan know and see what he thinks.

Seems OK for me. The only things that are slow for me are when I press the URL and IMAGE buttons on the toolbar. Takes 10 - 20 seconds for the popup to appear (into which I paste the URL or image location). I ought to take a look at what its doing, as it ought not to be doing much to just launch the pop-up panel.

Same problem here. In Chrome you can run the profiler which tells you exactly what's taking the time. I'll watch it for a while as I hang about here, and see if I can see a pattern forming. Already seen a few stuck requests but that means nowt unless its always (or mostly) the same ones.

Ziggy, I don't know what C Cleaner is?

Robin, I have Adobe reader 9, do you think I should update it to 11, if that's what you mean.

Sorry you two, I have said before i'm still a novice as far as the computer goes. :)

CC Cleaner is a free program on the Net you can down load to clear out junk files in your computer that slow it down, Sheal. I use it, plus Speedupmycomputer [not free], Registry Mechanic [free] to clear out stuff that will slow things down.
