Log Burner Ash?

    Hi all, just a quickie, I’ve searched but couldn’t find any info on using log burner ash in the garden. Just wondering if the ash could be used in the compost or the beds?

    As long as there are no nails and burning wood we always have put the Ash around the base of our trees.

      I use the ash from our bonfires on the garden and in the compost heaps. :blue thumb:

        Ours goes on the garden also.Best scattered.. Source of Lime and potassium and other trace elements...
        Avoid putting it around acid loving plants though....

          I put it around the fruit bushes but not blueberries.
