    Got home from work,chooks happily wandering around the garden...went to check their food and noticed blood on the hopper:scratch: thought they may have murdered a mouse but then looked round to see Mabel dragging Daisy round by her head..... had the conversation...why are you being so mean you nasty :mute: but Mabel refused to reply:chicken:.....now Daisy is sporting a Purple 'rinse' .....(violet antiseptic pray) .....nice colour:ideaIPB: quite fancy it myself:dbgrtmb:

      They are funny things aren't they!? I have one chook, which I bought from someone else, who will *never* be permitted in with the main flock; she would peck them to death!

      She doesn't mind; she's very happy being her own boss. So, she is housed, alone at night, in the copse with the ducks. She doesn't try to peck at them, but she makes it very clear that it is *her* space and they are *not* to mess with her! Clever ducks leave her to it :heehee:

      Much prefer the violet spray to that other brown yukky stuff which stinks of stale ashtrays :eeew:
