Just googled it. Never heard of it, but completely believe in it. I think there would be many happier people if everyone could adopt that.

Whenever I feel a bit overwhelmed by life I find that spending time anywhere in a natural environment recharges and refreshes my mind.

Nice to chat, hope you are well

Wonderful video, apparently it's in Abruzzo, Italy. I wish we still had that range of wildlife in the UK's national parks (with bears, wolves & lynx)

@BeeHappy I think what @Zigs was trying to put across is that many of us try to use "small" screen devices and it makes for copious amounts of scrolling to get through some messages. And lots of times I think we are startled by gratuitous posts that really have the flavour of getting "the last word in". That's why I love the ratings.

A quick click lets the author know you have paid attention and, hopefully enjoyed your post without having to add lots of data (read, slowing the forum down).

I love the yawn yawn wakeywakey, what are we?, threads where we each give a daily "digest" of what we're up to. I now hesitate to post there because lately I feel almost like I'm being stalked and or my activites tracked and assessed. Very unpleasant. Yes, helpful responses are appreciated but I think most of us try to use a measured reply.

The admin keeps a banner up top asking us to be careful about too much data and I believe that @Zigs and people like myself have a genuine worry about loads of animation that must be activated when many posts are read.

Just my two cents. Let's all not get our green thumbs pointing down, let's just remember that we should be considerate. Let's save data and my scrolling fingers :)

I can fully understand that wish. Theres a park here that has a collection of Nordic animals. Its amazing to see the variety that live or lived in the Nordic countries. I'm very surprised that there is not a similar place in the UK. It would be worth it for the educational value alone. A link...

Quite why Shaun the sheep is included, I have no idea. :dunno:

How fantastic, I have a friend that recommended Jarvzoo, I think it is 3-4 hours from Stockholm. Nordic wildlife is my absolute favourite, I want to see Wolverines too!

We have the British Wildlife Centre but it doesn't feature any of the animals that are now extinct here

Järvzoo is further away from Stockholm than that. Around 400km or say 4-5 hours driving. The one I mentioned is about a 1,5 hours drive from Copenhagen airport.
