Go to Google Play store and download from there.
Add in the file location to your movies etc

Thanks for the replys unfortunately I am not sure it will work.. As what I do is to create my kodi builds in Windows that can be around 3gb and then I transfer them to another pc using @[email protected] then restart kodi and my build will appear...
Not sure if I can do this with kodi from Google play..
    Thanks

I think people install different builds all the time but they transfer it as a zip file from a repository. I just skin it if I want it to look different but find the Plex add-on works best for me

Thanks for the reply. After I put my movies on nas I tried to use plex with nas.
1 minute it saw the server then not
    Then
I uploaded movies from nas to plex wouldn't even see the movies all though I followed a video on YouTube on how to do this sort of thing..
So unsure at the moment of what to do? Thanks

You might need to allocate a static IP address for your nas on the router.

At the moment I am looking at the TV.. As its got its own media player. So I have connected nas to TV media player it will see the nas but not what's on the nas.
As TV has interrnet I tried to go to Google play not luck kept saying address was wrong.. The only thing I can see is to connect either nas or external HD drive direct to TV and go through video option but it won't be like I would like?

Easy solution - purchase a Fire TV and plug it into the TV - there are apps for everything you could imagine.

TV browsers are usually woefully out of date and struggle to run with most things.

You don't need a fire TV as it already has the capability built in. The TV hosts the Kodi app which connects to the network and NAS

Is this an android based TV? Google play is just an app you use to other apps, no need to be entering addresses.
Nas should be connected to the router with static IP. You can then access the nas via the network from connected devices such as phone, TV or pc.
If you can't access it then there's a problem such as passwords or file path.
With Kodi you only have to browse to the content on the nas to populate the library

Another thought - the in built media player can take AGES to show content and it's very basic. It might just be that it hasn't got round to showing the files before you exit
