Members Locked out

I couldn't get in at all yesterday and having some problems this morning with slowness. What's been happening?

 

Me neither.

 

I think we should have a 'lock in' - you know, like they used to do down at the local pub. Anyone got any good alien theories we can discuss?

Long story short was I logged in to notice the backup system wasn't enabled, meaning the database was never being backed up/saved

Incase of a disaster we would have lost gc

So i had to run an emergency recache of the server which due to lingering records from old server put us on old dns

thats however been resolved now by swapping to new dns again on the server

 

In a nutshell it was your fault.

 

Don't knock Rich, without him we'd all be chatting via carrier pigeon, like Shiney, JWK & I used to.

At least now Richard has explained what happened we all know exactly what was happening,............Dont we?????
