Mexican Mystery Pod

    I found these pods on Mexico's Pacific coast, in Huatulco, I think. I thought I had a picture of the tree but can't find it. The tree had a rounded profile and was about 30' tall. Identification would be appreciated. Mexican Pods.jpg

    Thanks for that website Victoria, on sea beans,
    You have ID ed one of the seeds from my Chilterns lottery mix last year.
    Difficult to see but the seed was distinctive, No 6 was definitely Enterolobium, unfortunately I couldn't get the plant through the winter.
