And specificly, Gulfport, Mississippi. Will be flying there today for a quick weekend to attend a baby shower of my nephew and his wonderful bride expecting his first and her second. Just love the bride, she is so precious and have been in the nephews life since he was a wee lad. So expecting southern food, accents and fun. Have the gift with me. Will be staying in a southern hotel. Flying back Monday. Back to work Tuesday.

 

One of my favourite tongue twisters comes from one of the big brand foreign whiskey/bourbon producers (can't remember which) goes "mississipi sippin whiskey".

Will get the pics around later this week. Only inside the house pics, and people pics though. My nephew and his wife (niecealaw) live in a huge house. 6,000 square feet on 5 acres, with a pond.
The house has interesting the house has interesting roof angles. forgot to take an outside shot. The area is intersting, kinda flat. It is southern style homes. Party was nice. Was suprised how all dressed, sloppy jeans and whatever tops, must be the vogue to dress down. Was raised to look a little nice for Sunday and a party. Oh, well. The food was lousey, I wished I had known and would eat first. Just football type of snacks, and everything in BBQ sauce. Yuck. Thank goodness for a bottle of wine. Later.
