Hi Pal :D thanks they are impressive, two of them are working dogs, two are Pets as Therapy dogs (PAT dogs), two are just pets and two are rescue's. I kind of fostered them and they never left :) helped me get through some truly difficult times along with my good friends on here, Dee, Vicki and Shiney so thanks for that guys :D

Pal i hear what you are saying and tbh there are too many people out there with large breeds who do no research and just get the dog because they 'like the look of it' or any breed for that matter

Rotties were originally used for herding cattle, the guarding instinct is an individual thing some are some arent like with other breeds, Teddy (with the one eye) is slightly territorial but only in as much as he loves visitors but doesnt like them to leave :D

Pal the secret code is every visitor says goodbye to Teddy before getting up to go and then he will just cry a little bit like he is saying 'don't go' :hehe: he does look sweey with having just the one eye, like a loveable rogue :D

Ok then ...So Teddy is second in command then, after you of course:wink:

Paula,Having had dogs myself,I understand there has to be a pecking order, but I would love to learn the finer qualities of dog understanding.:)

Pal you can ask me anything about it you like :yez:

The pecking order wth my lot is lead by 'Dave' who i named purely for the entertainment of being able to call out Oi Dave :D, Teddy is the mischeivous one and second in command but guests leaving he finds offensive :rotfl: guests let himget away with blue murder as he only has the one eye and they seem to think this disables him when in fact you would never know it unless you looked at his face of course :rotfl:
