Hello everyone. Over the years I had been trying to move toward a low maintenance garden, though it never materialised to the low level of maintenance I envisaged. The lock-down encouraged me to get out in the garden more, and so I've been busy experimenting. I've found renewed enthusiasm, planting vegetables and fruits to see what will grow. However, I will need to keep my expectations in check in terms of ideas vs. effort! Looking forward to enjoying the forum and the chat.

Hello inashed, welcome to GC! I think the knack with lower maintenance gardening is to concentrate on decreasing or abolishing the time spent on doing the things you don't enjoy, so you can spend more time on the enjoyable aspects :) Weeding and turning compost heaps spring to mind :heehee:
