About 18 months ago a friend bought me a Tallandsia coz I thought they were so pretty.:wuvu: I was so disappointed when I found out they die after flowering.:( I did a bit of reading up on them but there was a lot of conflicting info. I took off the little side shoots and planted them in seperate pots. I babied them,k-l watered and misted them everday with rain water...... AT LAST!!! I have my 1st flower on one of my plants, The little purple flowers haven't come out yet, that will be an added bonus.

Well done 02 ... mine from earlier this year did nothing and my Sis (Kedi-Gato) has brought me another with a now green flower but I don't think this will go further with me here outside.

I have quite a few of these type plants that I have been very successful with so I persevere.

    Again, well done .... :cl-p:

Well done 02, bromeliads from offsets take a while to flower but are worth it. The pink colouring should last a few months, then when it has finally finished you can start all over again.:)
