      Good afternoon:smile:

      17. NO DISCUSSION OF GOOGLE ADS: NO discussion of Google ads to be made in the forums. This is a contractual issue required by Google

Actually not sure that these pop ups were anything to do with Google. Somewhere along the line we have picked up some Adware.
Have followed all the advice given on how to remove said Adware and the ads still appear.
Latest one I used was Malwarebytes Adware removal tool. This found 8 threats which none of the others did and removed them. We shall see if that has done the trick.

This is how to stop notifications from site in the Chrome browser. Try a search for similar in your Firefox browser. I used this to stop notification from RobotCaptcha3, that I managed to pick up somewhere.

Allow or block notifications from all sites

        1. On your computer, open Chrome.
        2. At the top right, click More Settings.
        3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
        4. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
        5. Click Notifications.
        6. Choose to block or allow notifications: Block all: Turn off Ask before sending.

Thanks. Not got Chrome at all. On Firefox there is an option for blocking sites, but it does not seem to be able to stop the ones I am getting even though they are listed.
And Malware Adware has not stopped the problem.

I found this for the Firefox browser, may be worth a try to stop notifications....

For now, this new setting is still a bit buried in the settings menu. To find it, head to the Firefox Options menu,
        Privacy and security
then Permissions > Notification Settings > Block new requests asking to allow notifications.

As far as I can see the problem has been solved by a very kind person on Tech Support Guy
Took some doing as well. Only problem is that in trying I have managed to wipe out HER Card game pack and try as I might I cannot get it to run again after re-loading it from the disc.
        another day, another problem.

Just read your Tech Support forum posts, seemd like a big job to remove it! If it works it's worth going through it though.

Think I know where the nasties came from. I looked at a chart of British Butterflies a few days ago and the pop ups began immediately after that.
