name this plant

    No idea, but it looks stunning in an unusual sort of way; the only thing that I can think of is a parasitic plant that grows off the roots of ivy (also in the picture) that I read about years ago; however I can't remember its name and never saw a picture so I could be way off....

    I'm thinking parasite as well.
    I've seen it in a very pale pink colour but not that purple.

    Just cant think of the name right now.
    I think its a beech root parasite.

    Its not Ivy broom rape I dont think.

    you are right about the parasite part ,toothwort latin name begins with a L if I remember properley , common in France Italy , just getting a foothold in the UK
