I know nothing at all about camera's, I am looking at budget camera's nothing to fancy. I don't use them that much just for the garden bits of wildlife.

Is this camera any good ? Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W810. It in my budget range and not to fancy.

Thanks I was looking at the W800 as well but thought the 810 were better cause it has more zoom :noidea: that's the limit for my camera knowledge.

Just had a bid on ebay on a sony wx350, ist got more numbers about it so I assume its even better :noidea: anyway I lost by £1.50 with 2 seconds to go :cry3:

A larger zoom doesn't always translate to a better camera, sadly, although it is hard to say if you would even notice; like everything else, you could pick up an 810 and be more than happy with it - it would only be if you compared it back to back with something else that you would notice any difference.

Shame you missed on the WX350, as that is a £230 camera, or was when it was new.

The wx350 was new, sold for £75 and £7 P+P so £82. I shouldn't be such a cheapskate . Trying to find another.
