Never seen this plant before.. maybe native?

It was growing everywhere, never seen it before.. anyone know what it is?

 

Phytolacca sp. maybe Phytolacca americana. ...common name Poke weed.

Very pink for Phytolacca, ours is almost white.

Forgot to say...it is definitely not native to Britain.

Thanks guys, ive done some searching too, it would appear to be Phytolacca acinosa (Indian Pokeweed). Interesting as they're growing everywhere, and they should not be?

Phytolacca americana is invasive.

 

I looked at both, to be honest it looks a little different from P. americana, which has a smooth surface and slimmer margins on the leaves.. The only leaves (and flowers) that correspond are Phytolacca acinosa - I looked it up and it says it can self seed, by the same token, however it says it is not particularly frost hardy.. however I don't know much about the requirements of the plant or how it got there
