New Camera Images

    This is the first day that has had a blue sky for nearly 3 weeks so I thought I would give the Canon 600D its first run out,here they are as were taken ,warts and all please feel free to comment on how the camera as performed (ie colour ect) and not the Photographer:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

      Its what I would expect from a Canon, nice natural colours. The second one is blown but I would expect that in this high contrast scene, number 4 is really nice, good contrast and colour and I love the tree shadows. What mode where they shot in?

        Thanks Steve for your input much appreciated, all the images above were shot on Auto,just for the work out,as a rule I shoot 90% in Aperture Priority:)

          (Commenting on the Canon shots)
          The first one is quite flat, but there is life in all of the others, this is quite good for auto mode where I would expect more flats than anything.

          The interesting thing to do now is to go out with a tripod (assuming you have one) and take a couple of pics, one auto, one aperture and one full manual, that's always the best, the auto is generally in JPEG whereas the aperture and manual will be either jpeg+RAW or just RAW on its own..so makes for good comparison of what your camera really captures.

          But so far so good.
