I bought 4 lovely clematis from Taylors in October last year. All planted up and are doing very well, except for C. Miss Bateman Type 2 . This has grown to nearly 6 feet tall and is brimming with health , but no flowers in May-June - or signs of any buds. Is this likely to flower in the second flowering period around August ?
    TIA

      Yes
HarryS, I think it will. Sounds good to me, viz., making lots of growth before flowering a little later :)

@Verdun , I hope it does . I'll keep it well watered and fed and see what happens in August. These were all 2 year old Clematis , the others have flowered . Even a 1 year old one from Asda managed one flower !

Cant compare though Harry. Im prepared to wait a tad longer for it to flower if its plant I want.
Bet you'll be posting pictures of it flowering in less than 4 weeks :)
