This year I grew dahlia 'Bishops Children' from seed.

Now they have turned black from the frost, can I save them, as from corms

Possibly. Dig them up let them dry off and carefully remove the soil from them. Keep them dry and frost free over the winter. Inspect from time to time and discard any that start to rot. Next spring (April/May) plant them out, watch out for slugs though as they love the young shoots. I usually start mine off in pots in a cold greenhouse in March/April.

    Hi Liliana,
You should be able to save them ok as long as they're kept frost free. If you look on the Dahlia thread there's some really good advice on there on the best way to go.
