    Hello all

I am in the process of getting prices for replacement fencing in the back garden and new fencing in the front.

The replacement fencing in the back garden will be the same side showing as it is now, the good side to me.

However, in the front garden I am going to have new featheredge fencing between myself and the neighbours and also along the front next to the pavement.

The fencing is going to be 3' tall in all, 2' panels and 1' gravel boards.

The fencing facing the front (pavement) is obviously going to have the good side facing out, however, which side should be shown on my side between myself and the neighbours?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

Convention has always been to politely have the good face to your neighbours

If it’s actually on the boundary then I would hope you’re neighbors would contribute to the cost then the good size would be upto you but if the fence will be on your side of the boundary or the neighbor is not contributing to the cost I would have the face side into your garden just my opinion mind
