Hello to all. My name is Keith. I have recently left the Royal marines and have lost my leg. I cannot now work, so I have taken up gardening, I dont know a great deal, I have got a small plastic greenhouse, big garden. I have just grown runner beans, tomatoes and Potatoes all in pots. I want to do alot more, any helps or tips along the way would be great.

    many thanks keith

Keith - a very warm welcome. I would like to say how proud we all are, and I think I speak for many, of our armed forces. I am so sorry to hear about your circumstances, but you can soon lose yourself in gardening.

I think the key aspect is to get stuck in, even if you are not sure what you are doing. I started that way - its the quickest way to learn.

      Hi Keith,

sorry to hear about your accident, and as the above post,
I thank you on behalf of many for your service to the Country.
It means a lot that you have time to look after your plants, since it is very important to be constant and patient when looking after them.
Myself I am no expert (although my parents were) but keen to learn.
      See you around!
