    Hi

    I'm from Lancashire



    I just want a nice garden firstly so need to clear things up. This is my first garden and it has got all sorts in from previous owners, mostly now dying or dead

    I like flowers and the idea of growing my own vegetables but think I've missed the boat for starting to grow anything this year

    I've grown tomatoes before and some small herbs but think that was more luck than skill

    Any advice is welcome

                    Welcome to GC Kev. :) It's a bit late for growing this year but you could start some winter pansies off from seed that a fairly easy to grow and plant them out later into pots. I don't grow veg so can't help you with that.
