    Hiya:)

I'm fairly new to the forum and tend to check in about every other day and I've noticed that I tend to miss out alot on previous ( because i have to active search for them and not sure where to look) posts because the "New Posts" button only seems to list posts from about 12 hrs previously.

I wondering if there is scope for you extending that period oftime New Posts are around to take into account the worldwide nature of this site:)

    Just musing....:love30:

I think that's a failing of the vBulletin software used, as I have the same problem on other forums which use vBulletin, whereas other Forum software remembers the last post I have read in a thread, and can therefore list all posts that I have replied to, or subscribed to, which have new posts, which I find very useful.

The posts on "New Posts" are since your last action. So if you read some posts, then don't come back for 20 minutes or so that's your last action. However, it you just drop in to look at something that will be your new last action, and (unless you read them on that visit) your "New Posts" will be lost. Same if you get half way through reading the New Posts and the phone rings / etc and you are inactive for more than 20 minutes then that becomes your new Last Action. So if you visit the site make sure you read everything you want to in new Posts :(
