    Hello all. For some reason, despite all my google gardening wanderings, I've never come across this forum! Glad I have tho, seems like a nice place :)
    I'm a keen gardener and chemo nurse, living in Llantrisant, just north of Cardiff. Garden is a fair size for a 1960s estate, but it's still not big enough as I would only really be happy with a couple of acres! However, I'm not complaining, I've crammed our garden with loads of flowers, veg, a greenhouse, a pond, a bog garden and a (newly created) posh patio. My front and side garden are a mass of bee and wildlife friendly flowers and the back gardens are where the veg grow.
    Currently getting tons of tomatoes, both outdoors and from the greenhouse, butternut squash and pumpkins coming on well (smallish but they only have to feed me and my husband). Have had a bumper year for strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. Lots of spuds and onions too! It's nice to be able to say that, seeing as how rubbish the previous years have been!
    Anyway, off to walk the dog, then try and put together some ikea furniture - or I may just leave it to hubby and wander off into the garden, seeing as the sun is out :).

              Sounds like you have had a great year. As someone who has only recently moved house, I think it will be at least another 5 years before I am looking back on a year like that!

                            The ikea furniture has been left for hubby.......
                            I didn't do any gardening because I have been waylaid by the arrival of Angry Birds Star Wars 2, in the App Store .
                            But I've had a wander round these forums and will get stuck in once I've got over my excitement at having a new Angry Birds game to play :)
