Newly Seeded Lawn: Lawn Sand; Weed & Feed

    Hello,

    I just bought some Weed & Feed (plus some Lawn Sand) from Wilko.

    However, the packaging on BOTH products warns against using on a newly sown / laid lawn during the first year.

    There are several areas of my lawn that I have to seed / patch on an annual basis. I'm certain that if I am unable to treat the lawn, the moss (in particular) will be back before the patched areas get a chance to become established.

    There a several posts on this forum advocating the use of "lawn sand" DURING the seeding process. Are there other products available that I could safely use?
