    Hello from Leicester!

I'm new to the forums so thought I would say hello! I spent the last few years building Garden walls, summer house, laying patios and all that kind of thing and now it's time to get serious with the plants etc! I know a few bits and bobs but nothing more.

My garden is set out to a small castle turret I built (I was a bricklayer) the gardens evolving all the time.

Not quite sure what else to say :-)

It started with building the garage on the right

Then I carried on and built this :-

and added in side walls near the house

Made all sorts of funky little things

Its more established now, This is a picture from a couple of years ago, I shall be sure to take an up to date picture now I have found this place, if anyones interested ;-)

    Thanks for looking.

    Welcome to the site George:thumb:

Wow,your garden is amazing and you have made a fantastic work of art with it.Even your line prop looks good:gnthb: and love the way you have the ivy scrambling all over the walls and the drawbridge chains:)

Our local garden centre{Formaly Wyvale}displays folly type thingys with arches and windows, done as a ruin but you only get a small corner piece and when I picked up a leaflet the other week they are quiet expensive so will have to wait to win the lottery before I have one of those:D

What a brilliant folly :) Well done, I saw similar 'ruined' castles for sale at Hampton Court Flower Show last year. They cost a fortune!
