I was just looking at some pics for garden design ideas, and I stumbled across this site:

Ewa in the Garden: Cute vegetable garden ideas

I quite like the rustic sacks hanging from the fence, with tatties growing in them.

I've always planned to take my garden into the vertical realm when I finally get it something like a garden (ETA next spring), but hadn't been thinking about the vertical just yet because there's just too much still to do yet. Some of the ideas in the site I link to are so incredibly simple, there's no effort involved in getting it going, so I could do that first thing in the spring, and the get on with the bulk of the garden while my veg is happily growing, taking up next to no space at all.
