    hello everyone,
having moved to a house with a big garden we've decided to give it a try. in order to avoid killing some of the stuff in the garden can anyone please tell me if the following plants have to be taken indoors for the winter:
    1.datura - blue flowered thing
2.fuschias - in hanging baskets with huge flowers
    3.lipstick plants
    4.surfinias in hanging baskets
    5.dwarf rhododendrons

there are more but these are the only ones with name badges on. thanks for any help

p.s i've had my kids traipsing around a field catching ladybirds to put on our tomatoes....does this really work?

Hi nokd, the datura will need to be taken in before the first frost, likewise the fuschias.
Lipstick plant is probably a house plant anyway and wont survive frost.
Sufinia petunias are treated as annuals and die in the winter so leave them out.
As for the rhodos, well really need to know what type they are.
Dont know about the ladybird bit on tomatos, although they do eat greenfly, if you've got them? [IMG]
