    have just been brought this orchid can anyone please tell me what it is and how to look after it [​IMG]

    looks like a cymbidium alan.
    The flowers last a long time 2 to 3 months sometimes.
    I put mine outside after flowering, in dappled shade under trees is ideal, feed from july onwards with tomato food at half strength and bring into a frost free enviroment in autumn.
    They dont like high winter night temps. it stops the flower buds forming, or even stops them opening if they are already there. So somewhere below 10 deg C at night in winter is best.
