I have this cherry accolade, planted 3 years ago. Because I know you have to prune it late summer, I don’t do it when I’m pruning the rest (apples, pears etc) and I’ve forgotten for the past 2 years-ooops!
It’s sprouted a top bit which seems more leaves than blossom. What would be the best way to prune it, when the time comes, to ensure plenty of blossom?

Something that young and small - does it need pruning? Leave to mid summer to avoid silverleaf
