          Remarkable creatures surviving yesterday and last night. Today both chicks are doing fine the male has brought a large fish. I like the way last night the male used his body to shield some of the storm from the female.

          She is well down in the nest in this weather and I don't blame her!
          The Welsh Osprey history is an interesting read.
          Thanks for the link Hans, I saw two Ospreys here last October passing through on their return to Africa, fortunately they are in no hurry and stay for a week or two. They are trying to encourage them to stay here and breed in Poole harbour but we may have a long wait.
