Hi, I have a large palm tree in my garden that seems to be producing a large amount of yellow seed like things. I don't know if they are seeds, so I thought I would ask the experts. I have attached a couple of photos at the bottom of the post. If they are seeds, could I plant a few of them in a pot in the greenhouse.
As mentioned in another post elsewhere on the website, I am new to gardening and I am having to learn as I go along. Unfortunately my wife got ill so it is up to me to look after the garden now. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards

Your palm is Trachycarpus fortuneii, it produces flowers around this time of year. They are either male or female, you'll need both to get viable seeds - your one looks to be a male - it's easier to tell once it fully forms. The flowers seem to appear from no-where and are pretty strange looking.
