Pansy or Petunia?

An easy one for the profs here i'd imagine.
One of my neglected baskets from last year. What has survived the winter?

So you should be

 

A pansy I would have thought, it's very unlikely you would see a petunia in bloom this early.

 

Petunia in April ?

 

I have three name tags in the basket from last year. I ruled out one, so had to ask about these two as the arnt too dissimilar (to me)!

 

so what was the third one you discounted? As that looks like neither pansy or petunia

 

I still think it's a Pansy, the leaves don't look right for a Petunia.

 

Looks like a pansy to me. White flower, yellow centre, shiny leaves. Also, v unlikely for a petunia to come through the winter in the open, whilst a pansy would be fine....

 

The 3rd was lobelia, but these flowers are very small.
