our first year of growing perpetual broccoli is producing masses of lovely florets just now. How do I treat the plants to keep them producing in later years? Will the florets keep coming this year, or do I have to wait until next year? Should we take out the terminal floret first or last? Does it need cutting back at all? How old can we let these plants get to?
