Is there an online resource that I can tell it what I've planted in my garden and it will tell me month by month what jobs I need to be doing?

I struggle remembering peoples names, so I'm going to really struggle with plants, unless I have them all written down.

I could do it on a sheet of paper, but I was wondered if that's the old fashioned/long winded way of doing it.

It would be really handy if I could just look at my calendar and it would tell me what jobs I should be doing each month. Prune that bush, fertilise that plant etc.

Hoofy, better to acquire regular habits I think....like pruning after flowering for example; when a shrub has finished flowering prune it back. No reminders needed.
At the start of the year why not go through the calendar and make notes about other garden jobs to do?:) No, I don’t think it’s necessarily an old fashioned way of doing things.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I use an app called "Clean My House" which lets you enter tasks and then set how often and when you want them to repeat. I use it mostly for things like reminders to give the cats their monthly flea and worm treatment, but it's also good for regular garden jobs that might otherwise slip - through the warmer months for example I set it to do a weekly "feed the lemon tree" and so on.

Thanks for the suggestion, not really what I was thinking of though. I thought there might be an app that you inputted all your plants into and it would tell you what each one needed, and when it need it.

I've been using a lawn care calendar, which I find very helpful.

Following on. As Spruce said. Ask on here. This really is a Friendly forum, no back biting etc, and you can make many new friends.

Perhaps other members have compied some form of database on their computer, once the framework is done and saved, you can take your time researching and adding notes. There are many books etc available. Monthly garden tasks calendar | Van Meuwen. This is a useful site. Also the RHS.ORG.UK site probably can help. Best wishes with your garden.
