Just deadheaded my Phlox and decided to use the stems are cutting. Used a 50 50 mix compost petlite. Hàs anyone else tried this?

@Andre Murphy I try to root pretty much everything i deadhead or prune ...some i have success some not ;) ...it's such a cheap way to propagate and bulk up your garden and when you see the result its a real feel good factor  Im always rooting something.... i luv it
Only today after visiting a friends garden ..I've just rooted on some lovely Pinks "Tickled Pink" "Passion" and "Cranmere Pool" cuttings... so well see what next year brings with them :fingers crossed:
Good luck with your Phlox - well have to have an update to see how our plants are fairing :)
