    Hi Guys,

I am thinking about planting 2 Photinias and a Laurel Bay along a wooden fence to screen the view. So the area that I wish to screen off is probably 18ft wide and the fence is about 6ft tall ... so I need something that will be taller than that by at least a foot.

    a) Should I be planting these 2 types so close together?
    b) The area I wish to screen is roughly 18ft wide ... will these 3 be OK for that area?
    c) How close to the fence sould these be planted?

    Thanks for your time

Hi jumanji. A couple of questions

What is the aspect of the fence, ie north or south facing etc?
How wide from the fence is the planting area?

This will give us an idea of what could be planted.

Actually, I have just noticed that you have asked the same question in another thread. That one also has pictures of your garden.
