PHOTOBUCKET.....PROBLEMS

I don't know if anyone uses Photobucket but I've been using it for a couple of years and it's becoming a real pain at the moment. From what I hear it has changed ownership and the new team is trying to change the hosting software and not doing a good job of it.
So over the last week there's been , many times, when I couldn't get access to it as the Home Page wasn't working and I got the Sad Face page on the screen. Other times I got the Home Page but couldn't log on, or when getting into my account found that some of my Libraries had "disappeared", then repeatedly being unable to get logged on, or again finding the Home Page not working. I e-mailed them explaining what was happening and, to give them credit, they e-mailed me back. After a couple of e-mails I got my account back and all seemed fine......but, guess what???, tonight the Home Page isn't working again
Some people who use it for e-Bay are contemplating a legal class action against them.
Me?, I'm going to ask for compensation for the loss of the service and for paying for a service I haven't had ,and if they don't sort the problem out soon I'll find some other image storage site.

 

I rarely complain but I've just sent a e-mail to PB listing all the constant problems that are still on-going and asking for some sort of explanation. I also said that I'm contemplating finishing my account and that I want some sort of refund or compensation..........while asking if, and when, they expect to solve the problems.

 

I stopped using PB years ago.

I didn't use it as a storage media as I keep my photos on my machine and backed up separately. I used it for posting photos on GC.

Since the change on GC a few years ago I stopped using PB, as I occasionally had problems with it, and just drag and drop to GC. It's quicker but doesn't allow more than 12 photos in one go - no hardship really.

Actually when I drag and drop to GC I find that GC always leaves one of the photos out (doesn't matter how many I drag and drop) but I then drag and drop that one.

Mrs Shiney posts photos on FaceBook but she just copies and pastes.

 

It's working tonight as it should be....well, nearly. I've just uploaded 3 images reasonably quickly but now the 4 image is stuck trying to upload

 

Well, it appears to have returned to normal, although I don't know how long for, as one minute it's okay and then the next.......

 

Photobucket have just sent a e-mail to all it's subscribers and apologised while informing us that it's now back up and running normall. I logged on this afternoon to find it to be true, did some uploading and then finished. But I went back to PB a couple of hours later and couldn't log on again
