Hello everyone. Hope you can help me. [IMG]

I've created a slideshow in Photobucket which is going to friends and family but I only want them to see the slideshow and not all of my photos which I keep on P.B. I've tried several ways of making and sending the slideshow to another of my email addresses but I just cannot fathom how to keep it limited to just the show.

Any ideas or is it just something I have to contend with?

There is a reward to anyone who can solve this problem for me. [IMG]

Dont really know, BUT, have you tried creating a new sub album with the pics you want to send and then creating the slide show from that.

I,m no expert kryssy but can you not transfer the slide show over to your picture album that you use then transfer it back from there and upload it and then send it to friends, its worth a try

Hi Kryssy, photbucket do have a facility for password protection
    see here

Another alternative might be to set up a separate account, either in Photobucket or one of the other free hosting services

    like Freeshare

    or Gigafiles

I use both of these for the pics I have on this and other forums, I use Fotopic as a gallery for pics anyone can look at.

    Fotopic

I like Fotopic cos it only has discrete ads on the home page, and I find it easy to use, it is not so good for "hot linking" (getting pics onto forums) which is why I use Freeshare and Gigafiles for pics to show on forums.

Thank you Pete, Rosa and Mike. I will have a good look at all suggestions as soon as I've fed the hubby and the dog.

I'll let you know how I get on if you like.

Nah, Walnut, the dog can't eat too much fat!!

Ok, Mike, I tried out all those sites and for one reason or another I didn't get far. One of them, cannot remember which one, took about 20 minutes to upload my slideshow so not good. But I will definitely use them as photo storers so thank you for that. Anyway, in the process of following your links I came across this site

    Sliderole

It's a bit fiddly at first but after a while I made a slideshow really easily and have posted it off to my friends and family. It has some good features on it and you can make a reasonble slideshow which uploads quickly and there's a fair selection of music too. Basic programme is free or you can upgrade for larger photo size etc. Worth a look.
