Pinching out

    Just wondering whether one should pinch out when buds show, or a top section - so to speak - of the main stem. Thinking of Osteospermum and Cosmos (as in pics) and Tithonia.

    I am still pinching out buds and top growth ennnceee. Nothing to lose except a slight delay in flowering. You mentioned tithonia and cosmos .....2 I grow here too....and with such tall plants pinching back will produce sturdier growth. Maybe not so important on osteospermum:)
