Should I be pinching out my annuals/tender perennials. And is it too late. It is the first time I have grown annuals in a border. They are still quite small after a late sowing, but the Cosmos is close to flowering.

The plants in question are Ageratum (tall), Amaranthus, Antirrhinum, Cleome, Cosmos, Limonium Sinuatum (Statice) and Salvia Hormium (annual Clary).

Peters let it flower and then cut back to about half, many perennials will flower again late Summer,Autumn , if you do it in 2 stages then it prolongs the flowering even more, but regular feeding all Summer..
